French Link Stitch Binding Workshop

SGD 69.00

Unwind after a long day with relaxing bookbinding, gentle background music, and the option to bring along your favorite drink to enjoy during the session. A perfect dose of midweek self-care.

Join us for a 2-hour beginner-friendly night workshop where youll learn the fundamentals of bookbinding through the elegant French link stitch - a historic sewing technique that dates back to the 15th century in Europe. Traditionally used in fine bookbinding, this decorative and durable stitch links sections of a book together with a distinctive braided pattern, offering both strength and beauty.

In this workshop, you’ll create your very own handcrafted journal using the French link stitch method. This non-adhesive binding style and expose spine allows the book to open completely flat, making it highly functional as well as elegant.

Personalise your journal by choosing between blank or dotted grid pages, and selecting from a variety of thread colours and cover papers to make it uniquely yours.

At the end of the session, you’ll take home a beautiful and functional journal - perfect as a notebook, sketchbook, or a thoughtful handmade gift.
